Gossip & Gists: Hit-maker D’Tunes Parts Ways With Iyanya, Sets Up Record Label

Talented music producer and hit-maker Adesanya Doyinsola better known as D’Tunes has parted ways with pop singer Iyanya and his record label Made Men Music Group (MMMG) after working with the label for over three years.

D’Tunes is credited for making three of Iyanya’s biggest hits off his second album ‘Iyanya Vs Desire‘ – the smash hit ‘Kukere‘, the follow up banger ‘Ur waist‘ and the third single ‘Flavour‘.

No reasons have been given by both camps but D’Tunes through his reps says he’s moving on to other tasks to accomplish as his work with MMMG is a glaring success.

Already, the NIIT graduate has set up his own production and record label outfit called Difference Entertainment and he’s signed R&B-Pop singer Sean Tizzle. Sean was up till recently a member of Sound Sultan’s music ensemble Naija Ninja.

Iyanya’s MMMG still fields two other artistes – the pop singer Emma Nyra and vocalist Bassy Okon.

Gossip & Gists: Seyi Law, Patience Ozokwor, Iyanya to be inducted as FRSC celebrity marshals

The Federal Road Safety Commission has released the approved list of celebrities to be inducted as Celebrity Special Marshals in March, 2013.

 

For a few years now the FRSC has been choosing celebrity special marshals from the media, movies, music and fashion industry to act as ambassadors for the commission in a move that seeks to use society influencers to stop reckless attitude of drivers and other road use misdemeanours.

Some of the celebrities to be inducted include, Seyi Law, Patience Ozokwor, Tony Okoroji, Halima Abubakar, Oge Okoye, Fidelis Duker, Chico Ejiro, Steve Ayorinde, Queen Ure and Azuh Amatus. Others are Emeka Rollas, Emeka Mcdowen, Doris Simeon, Deji Balogun, Tokunbo Ojekunle, Sola Salako, Salomey Eferemo, Iyanya, Victoria Pepple, Ayo Makinde and a few others.

The FRSC says a few more names will be released in the next few days. The Special Celebrity Marshals have the right to educate, enlighten, and also arrest traffic offenders nationwide.

Past inductees include, Kate Henshaw, Gloria Young, Segun Arinze, Tee A, Nobert Young, Kofi Idowu, Sunny Nneji, Dayo D1 Adeneye, Weird MC and Adewale Ayuba, Ali Baba and Stella Damasus.

Gossip & Gists: Iyanya Flaunts N30M Aston Martin Car

Kukere' crooner, Iyanya Mbuk has announce his acquisition of an expensive automobile. The Calabar, Cross River State-born singer posted on his Instagram page a picture of the car and dropped a note 'who God don bless'.

 
Iyanya, who has been smiling to the bank since his Kukere hit single became a household song, has bought a N30million Aston Martin car.

He won the first edition of MTN sponsor music hunt show, Project Fame West Africa. He currently has two other single making waves namely 'Ur Waist' and 'Flavour'.
