Gossip & Gists: P-Square's Paul Okoye Welcomes Child With 19-Year Old Beauty Queen?

According to a report by Sahara Reporters, Paul Okoye, the other half of twin singing sensation, P-Square, has welcomed a child with 19 year old MBGN 2012 contestant, Elshama Igbanoi. After reading the story, we contacted someone from Paul's camp and they said they do not know anything about the pregnancy or the girl, strange.

Nigeria’s hip hop sensation, P Square (real name Paul Okoye), has reportedly abandoned the mother of his second baby in a London hospital where the woman recently gave birth to the entertainer’s baby.

A few weeks after welcoming his first new born baby in Atlanta, P Square – who is also known as P2 – had another baby delivered for him in a London hospital by a former beauty pageant contestant. However, this time, P Square has refused to claim paternal responsibility for the baby boy.

Sahara Reporters learnt that the new baby’s mother is Elshama Benson Igbanoi, a 19-year-old and former Miss Plateau State. Our sources disclosed that she gave birth at the Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital on Du Cane Road, London W12 0HS.

Our sources said the new mother had been in touch with P2, but he had not been forthcoming beyond telling her that he plans to arrive in London for a DNA test to ascertain paternity. 

Sahara Reporters spoke to the woman’s father, Benson Igbanoi, in Abuja. Mr. Igbanoi stated that his daughter was faithful to the musician. He also revealed that he had sent several emails to P Square concerning his daughter’s pregnancy for him, but had received no response.

Another source said Elshama's family had contacted Paul Okoye's father and aunt to persuade the musician to accept responsibility for his baby.

Ms. Elshama insists that she never slept with any man except for P2, adding that she lost her virginity to him when she was 17 years old.

Sahara Reporters learnt that the London hospital where she gave birth has not received any payments. “The hospital has been harassing both Elshama and her mother to pay hospital bills of over £5,000 that have been incurred,” said one source. The baby boy has been named Michelle Paul Okoye.

In a twist to the story, a source close to the former beauty queen said Ms. Elshama was a close friend to Anita, the other woman who gave birth to another baby for P2 a few weeks ago in Atlanta, Georgia.

Peter Okoye posted the photo on the right on his instagram page this evening and captioned it - Hustle must continue....Oil business tinz. Then posted the one on the right with the caption... More business #oilsector.

Is he announcing P-Square's foray into the oil business? You know they are giving oil wells anyhow these days...hehe. *kidding* But good for them!

Gossip & Gists: "I Won’t Sign Any Artiste Until P-Square Stops Singing" – Jude Okoye

CEO of Northside Entertainment/Square Records, Jude Okoye says he is not looking forward to signing any new artiste in the nearest future.

The multi-award winning video director and elder brother of P-Square told E! 365 in an interview "I don’t know about Peter and Paul but me personally I won’t sign any artiste until P-Square stops singing, that is the same thing I said when you asked me why I’m not shooting videos for other artistes, everyone that comes under this umbrella will start comparing."

The label boss who has also scored some of the biggest videos in Africa also explains his not shooting for other artistes too. ‘That’s the reason why in managerial aspect and even shooting videos, people will definitely want to compare, so because of that I made up my mind that I’m better off on my own’

Square Record’s attempt at experimenting with non-Okoye acts failed last year, with the drama surrounding May D who was eventually dropped from the label.

Gossip & Gists: P-Square Building Another Massive House In Parkview Estate, Ikoyi

Peter, Paul and Jude Okoye have been building the new house at Parkview Estate since June last year. 

According to a source close to the twins, the new house, which will also be a twin duplex like their Omole Estate home, will be called Squareville2. Squareville2 is costing them more than their Omole Estate mansion.

E! 365 gathered exclusively that the Okoye boys bought the land in Parkview Estate for N200million and will spend another N200m to erect their dream home.

They will be shuttling between their Omole home and this new one, which will be completed before the end of the year.
